CardioNavix was born out of the idea that Cardiac PET should be attainable for anyone. Not just a select few – everyone. In 2016, we got to work and turned our idea into reality. We don’t have a fancy answer, only the belief that every physician should be empowered and never inhibited by layers of obstacles.
PET provides improved image quality, greater interpretive certainty, higher diagnostic accuracy, lower patient radiation as well as shorter imaging protocols as compared to SPECT. Additionally, PET imaging allows assessment of left ventricular function at peak-stress, and evaluation of microvascular function through the measurement of absolute myocardial blood flow at rest and at peak-stress. PET has been the buzz word for years and especially since ASNC and SNMMI released their joint position paper in August 2016.
So why isn’t everyone doing Cardiac PET?
The reasons many PET programs never make it off the ground:
1. Cost of a monthly generator
2. Lack of necessary volume
Those reasons no longer exist with CardioNavix.
We’d love to tell you how in person so, we are hitting the road and going to Florida!
If you’re in the area, stop by Booth #2 to say hello or call/email us. We’d love to hear from you.
